Directions:Start with the FRONT VIEW
Use a ruler and create straight even lines across your paper
(or use Graph Paper)
Use the lines to break down where the different body parts are located (head, feet, waist, neck, hands, etc…)
Keep body parts equal in scale and proportion in the different poses
Break down character body parts into simple shapes first for all the poses, then fill in the details afterwards.
Make the shape/ball of the head and the shape/body different sizes (big head with small body or small head with a big body) to keep it interesting.
Turn in:
One page that has the following 5 drawings, all aligned.
1. Front View
2. 3/4 Front View
3. Profile View
4. 3/4 Back View
5. Back View
Add Color to each drawing.
Create a Color key with the colors you used.
