For this assignment you will use Photoshop to copy a pre-existing logo.
1. Find a logo for a brand that you like (clothing, food, sports, video game, car, anything!)
2. Save the image. Open Photoshop. Create a new document (Web > Web Minimum) and place the logo inside File > Place Embedded
3. Lock the image.
4. Use the TEXT tool to find an appropriate font to use. Use the TRACKING and VERTICAL and HORIZONTAL scale to make it match
5. Right click on the text layer and choose CONVERT TO SHAPE
6. Now you can use the PATH SELECT tool to move letters or DIRECT SELECT tool to move the points
7. Use the PEN TOOL and FREE PEN TOOL to trace elements of the logo.
8. When you are done place the original logo on the top of the page and your copy on the bottom.
9. Save the file as PSD for your records.
10. File > Export as PNG and turn it in here
